Nikoleta Kollchaku
My name is Nikoleta Kollchaku. I am originally from Korca Albania. I immigrated to the US in 1996. In Albania, I earned a bachelor’s degree in both Physics and Mathematics. I became a Math and Physics teacher at a local school in a small town called Gramsh. There, I taught for 15 years before coming to the US. I continued my education by earning my master’s degree and 6th Year. I started at Crosby High School in 1999 and have been there since. I also teach at Naugatuck Valley Community College. I am hoping that the challenges I have faced and the experiences that I have learned from will make me a great candidate to become a member of the Wolcott Board of Education.
