Town Council

Anthony Guerrera Jr – District 1

I was an assistant coach with the Roberto Clemente travel baseball team that help take the boys to 3 World Series.I was on a committee to assist in the renovations to 3 schools back in 2019. My background in construction helped members on the committee understand the procedures. I have been on the town council for 4 years and also the chair on the finance committee. Personally, I have owned my own construction company for 36 years. I work with mostly nationwide builders performing interior finishes. I employ 11 people and many other subcontractors who perform the work.

Together, my husband and I own and operate a business in town.  I am in charge and oversee human resources, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, service, contract review and negotiation, review of legal documents and overall business upkeep and management. I have served on various committees and boards within our town.  Some of which include Republican Town Committee,  Board of Ethics,  Secretary for the Local Emergency Planning Commission, Civilian Police Review Board and Blight.  I have also served and been a member of school PTOs, booster clubs and hiring committees for various positions within our school district.|

I have been a Wolcott resident since 1971.

Cory Lagasse – District 2

Though I wasn’t born in Wolcott, it’s the place I chose to build my future and raise my family. I became a resident in 2020, married my wonderful wife Lori in 2021, and we welcomed our daughter Alexi in 2022—with our second daughter, Siena, born this August 2025. Originally from Waterbury, I’ve worked in my family business, Lagasse Property Rentals, since 2011, managing finances, leasing, and tenant relations for over 350 units at its peak. This experience has strengthened my skills in budgeting, operations, and communication. Over the past two years on the Wolcott Town Council, I’ve proudly joined several committees, including: Negotiations Subcommittee, Mayor’s Back Tax Collection Subcommittee, Open Space & Land Parcel Review, Solar Energy Subcommittee, Library Building Committee. Wolcott is not just where I live—it’s where I’ve planted roots, built a family, and invested my time and energy. I’m deeply committed to improving everyday life for all residents, because when our town thrives, so does my family
